… CONSULTANCY WITHOUT BORDERS …
As part of the Functional Safety (SIL) consultancy activities provided by BT INGENIUM both for the railway sector and other industrial sectors, Teodoro BOVE, on behalf of his client and partner TUV Nord Italia, went to India to Chennai to carry out specialist consultancy on site in a very innovative and rapidly developing Indian company in the elevator market sector for Luxury Home Lift applications.
The activity, in addition to providing the customer’s design department with complete training on the introduction and application of the IEC 61508 series of standards, was completed with practical activities for carrying out pre-compliance analyzes with the safety requirements required by the architecture standard of the electronic control systems (E/E/PE) currently under development for the customer’s new product lines with the aim of pursuing safety certification for the lift systems at the SIL3 level.
For BT INGENIUM it was a further interesting and qualifying experience of cross-border consultancy which proved to be very satisfying both from a professional and human point of view and in terms of knowledge of other cultures and ways of operating, also having confirmation of the appreciation from the customers of the many years of expertise offered in the field of electronic design and Functional Safety (SIL).
