BT Ingenium back in Tunisia from 09/10/2023 to 20/10/2023 for the execution of the last phase of the “Energy audit of railway rolling stock” project on the railway network of the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisiens SNCFT.
The project is thus concluded with the presentation of the elaborated and related action plan and Training on projects to improve the energy efficiency of rolling stock and proposal of the investment plan which will allow the client to be able to study and implement the necessary improvement actions in the future for reducing the energy consumption of the country’s railway system and the related environmental impact.
As part of this SNCFT “Energy audit of railway rolling stock” project, BT Ingenium, with the participation of its technical director Teodoro BOVE, received the assignment from the client RINA consortium – Comete Engineering to be part of the team of experts established for the execution of the project, as a railway engineering specialist for the part of the rolling stock subsystem.
The specific Railway Design skills expressed by BT Ingenium were appreciated within the work team and proved important for implementing the various technical proposals included in the projects of the action plan presented, particularly for those more complex projects classified as higher priority of realization in relation to the expected return on investment from the point of view of energy saving and consequent reduction of CO2 levels.
A big thank you to the RINA team and the project leaders Valeria and Marzia for this wonderful collaboration opportunity completed with this mission and above all for the excellent work done together.
Thanks also to all the representatives of the final client SCNFT met and known in the four training centers in the sites of Tunis (Hammam Lif), Sousse, Sfax and Gafsa where the various work sessions took place, always very kind and very interested in learning more technically and learn the content of the projects presented.
